Home to the famous Soave and Prosecco wines, Veneto is an increasingly important wine region in the north-eastern corner of Italy. Veneto is slightly smaller than Italy’s other main wine-producing regions, such as Piedmont, Tuscany, Lombardy, Puglia and Sicily, yet it generates more wine than any of them. Protected from the harsh northern European climate by the Alps, these cooler climes are well-suited to white grape varieties such as Garganega, while the warmer Adriatic coastal plains, river valleys and Garda Lake zone are the places where the renowned Valpolicella, Amarone and Bardolino DOC reds are produced. At Cachet Wine we have a great choice of wines from Veneto, including those from the fantastic Villa Sandi.
Our suppliers come from all around the world, but they share one common goal – quality.
