A white grape originally from Greece. The wines tend to be deeply coloured and have a nutty flavour, while any fruity notes are more subtle and underlying. Malvasia has been around for hundreds of years, and was Anglicized by Shakespeare, who changed the name to ‘Malmsey’. Now, Malvasia is used primarily for dessert wines or fortified Madeira wines.
Our suppliers come from all around the world, but they share one common goal – quality.
