The Ritratto is a bright and deep ruby red wine, with violet nuances. To the nose it is harmonic and rich: ripe red and black fruit, especially blackberry, raspberry and plum, followed by delicate notes of wilted violets, blend with recollections of coffee roasting and rich balsamic aromas. To the palate, it has considerable substance and is distinguished by the mellowness and sweetness of the fruit, balanced and enveloping, intense with a pleasant and elegant tannic note, which guides the long finish.
A perfect pairing with rich stuffed pastas, grilled meats and game specialties.
