Brilliant gold in colour with subtle green hues. Rich, intense and complex bouquet full of nuances. Aromas of tea and honey, with subtle smokiness. Hints of oak from barrel ageing. Unctuous with a long persistent finish and an elegant hint of minerality.
Aperitifs, patés, and rich cheeses. Risottos and seafood. Fruity desserts.
Wines from Spain awards - Best Premium White

"Best Premium White", Wines from Spain 2022. Tim Atkin, February 2024: ''There aren't many better Tempranillo Blancos in Rioja than this barrel- fermented example from the Olagosa and Valle de Moros vineyards in the Viana. Subtle, savoury and lightly toasty, it has lots of stony minerality, lime and passion fruit flavours and a dollop of cream''.
