A proud Lancastrian, born and raised in Preston, Alison’s early career in graphic design led to a role at Mitchell’s Brewery in Lancaster, where her path into wine began by chance in 1992. WSET studies led to progressive and varied roles within the on-trade wine sector until a move to off-trade agency sales in 2013, where her love for the Indie trade was realised. She joined Cachet Wine in 2017.
Alison's favourite wines range from complex reds to elegant whites... she is currently enjoying Coroa Douro Branco from Portugal. Downtime for Alison means time well spent socialising with family and friends, trips away, dining out, live music and switching off with gardening and yoga.
