Johnny was introduced to the wine trade (whilst playing a game of Village Cricket for Great Ouseburn) in 2004 and focused on Premium New World wines.
Travelling to North America during this time has cemented the Pinot Noirs of Oregon as some of his favourites. These Pinots are wonderful with particular style of their own and not trying to emulate the Pinots of France and New Zealand however, they for special occasions as they are a tad on the punchy side.
On a more day to day basis, Johnny can be seen with Bourgogne Pinot Noir on his dining table. Le Chapitre by Machard de Gramont, is very hard to beat.
