An adopted Yorkshireman, Nick grew up in Harrogate and went on to study Hospitality Management in Leeds. He started his career working for Queens Moat Houses and Trusthouse Forte Inflight Foodservice before embarking on a career in the wine trade with the fledgling company, Majestic Wine in 1992.
After 10 years and an early mid-life crisis, Nick left for the USA to indulge his passion for flying and gained his Helicopter pilots licence before returning to the UK. He started wine wholesaling with Playford Ros, based in North Yorkshire in 2004 before joining Cachet Wine in 2008.
Nick fell in love with the Island of Corsica as a student, returning many times since and is particularly fond of the Domaine Petroni Rose.
