Neil grew up in a tiny fishing village in Scotland and came to wine through working in restaurants in Aberdeen whilst at University studying Art.
After realising he could get paid for tasting wine he embarked on a 16 year career with Oddbins, interspersed by 2 years cycling around wine regions of the World with the aim of gaining 'hands on' experience.
He joined Cachet Wine in 2003, and now enjoys painting, extreme DIY, and cycling. Wine-wise, it's all about Jordan from Sonoma... arguably the most polished and elegant wines in California.
