Dominated by the majestic Mont Ventoux, visible for miles around, the region of Ventoux measures approximately 30 miles north to south and encloses around 50 separate communes. Ventoux is similar to Côtes du Rhône in terms of the grapes varieties used – Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre dominate for the reds, with smaller amounts of Carignan and Cinsault, whilst the white wines are produced from Clairette, Viognier and Bourbelenc. This region produces mainly red and rose wines, with only tiny amounts of white produced. The soil is arid limestone and schist, and the climate wholly Continental- Mediterranean. The best wines come from producers who control their yields and enjoy a higher proportion of older vines in their vineyards.
Our suppliers come from all around the world, but they share one common goal – quality.
