Marsanne is the most widely planted white grape of the northern Rhone Valley, and has a long history as a blending grape, producing richly aromatic, full-bodied, moderately intense wine with spice, pear and citrus notes, which age beautifully. Increasingly it is now grown in the Southern Rhône and Languedoc Roussillon, where it is either bottled as a single varietal or blended with Roussanne, Viognier, and even Chardonnay. It is also very successfully in Victoria, Australia with some of the world`s oldest Marsanne vines. However the grape is highly sensitive to extreme temperatures and susceptible to diseases, which can make it a difficult grape to cultivate.
Our suppliers come from all around the world, but they share one common goal – quality.
